Usernames are automatically generated for students upon enrollment and upon hire for employees by the College’s student information system. Usernames are automatically formatted to ensure uniqueness. Note that a username is NOT the same as a display name. A display name is the personalized name that is attached to your account. For instance, in the example “Sally Smith (ssmith12@massasoit.edu)”, Sally Smith is the display name and ssmith12 is the username.
This service request is only for requesting Username changes. ITS will change an account username one time per semester in accordance with our Account Policy. Display names are updated automatically several times daily using the preferred first name you have entered in the student information system.

Username changes can be requested by all staff, faculty, and students.
