Nobody likes having to sit through redundant training. If you have already completed your yearly security awareness training at another institution, you can request transfer credit to complete your Massasoit training. The Information Security team will mark that training completed so you don't have to complete it again.
Criteria
- Completion certificates must be generated from KnowBe4.
- The completion date on the certificate must be within the last 365 days.
- A separate certificate is needed for each training module.
- The training module must match what is assigned at Massasoit (i.e. a 2021 version of a training does not satisfy a 2022 assignment).
To download your certificates from another institution, sign into your KnowBe4 dashboard and select the Training tab at the top.
You should see your completed modules and can Download Certificate.
Attach the downloaded certificate to this service request.

Transfer credit can be requested by any faculty or staff. The criteria is listed above.
