Resolution
Massasoit offers Microsoft Office 365 as a free to use web application for faculty, staff, and active students. It includes most of the Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. It's also a way to access your OneDrive containing your files and documents.
Note: This article provides instructions on how to use Microsoft Office 365 on the web without having to download the software. If you'd like instructions on how to download Microsoft Office onto your computer for Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android, click here.
Here are the instructions on how to gain access to Microsoft Office on your device:
- Click here to get to the Microsoft Office Portal. (https://portal.office.com/)
- On the Microsoft Sign in page, enter your full Massasoit email address.
- You may receive a prompt asking for which type of account to use. Select "Work or school account."
- Enter your Massasoit password when prompted. This will be the same password you normally use for the MyMassasoit Portal.
- You are now logged into the Microsoft 365 portal. Buttons for the various applications are in the menu on the left side of the page and your recent files will be listed in the middle section of the page if you scroll down a bit.
- While logged into the Microsoft 365 portal, you can always access the full list of apps by clicking on the grid icon in the top left.
