- Do I need a VPN connection to do my work?
Resolution
You do NOT need a VPN account or connection to access these applications through the MyMassasoit portal:
- Email – both Outlook and Gmail
- Microsoft OneDrive and Google Drive
- All Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
- Banner Self-Service (e.g., class rosters and grading)
- Canvas
- Degree Works
- GradesFirst/Navigate
- Academic Works
- Maxient
- Teleconferencing tools, including
- Microsoft Teams
- Google Meet
- Zoom
You WILL need a VPN account and a College-issued device to access the following:
- Banner Admin Pages (ex. SFAREGS, RHACOMM)
- Banner Document Imaging (BDM)
- Files saved in a network location (usually this a drive like X: or H:)
- Moving these files temporarily or permanently to OneDrive can avoid needing a VPN
- Argos reports
