How to Set Up RingCentral Account

Issue/Question

  • I just received an email from RingCentral regarding setting up my account. How do I do this? 

Resolution

  • When your RingCentral account is created, you will receive an email invitation from support@ringcentral.com to activate your account. It is NOT spam. 

    Please follow the steps below to finalize activation of your account:

    1.     Open the email from support@ringcentral.com. 
    2.     Click Set Up Account to go through the Express Setup (the link will expire in 48 hours). 
    3.     Log on with Single Sign-On. Enter your @massasoit.mass.edu email and password. 
    Note: You MUST choose Single Sign-On and then log on with your @massasoit.mass.edu email in the subsequent Google screen. Do NOT use a personal email account.
    4.     Create a PIN (6-10 digits). Create a security question and password. Click Continue. Optional: Make changes to your account settings (you can do this later). 
    5.     Click Agree and Confirm to complete.

  • ALERT: This email will expire in 48 hours if this happens please reach out through your TeamDynamix ticket, or create a ticket or reach out to the Help Desk x1139, helpdesk@massasoit.mass.edu.
  • DO NOT click on the email link if the invite has expired as you will be making a faux account that is not connected to Massasoit and will take up to 7 days to fix.

This button will redirect you to your browser, where you will be presented with this screen on RingCentral’s website

  • Please set a PIN for your account. Once it is accepted, you will be redirected to the main screen in RingCentral’s website, where you can begin using your phone features, such as calling, and checking Voicemail.
