Open a Shared Mailbox in Outlook Web Access


  • How do I access my department's or team's shared email inbox?


  • One of the ways you can access a shared mailbox for your department or team is by using Outlook Web Access. Outlook Web Access is the online version of Outlook, where Massasoit employee email is located. To access the shared mailbox this way, follow these instructions:


  1. Login to Outlook through the MyMassasoit Portal



  1. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner, then click on Open another mailbox.
    • ​​​​​​​This icon will either be your profile icon if you've uploaded one, or your initials by default.



  1. Start typing the email address of the shared mailbox you're trying to access and select it in the list that pops up.



  1. From here, a new tab will open logged into Outlook with the shared mailbox account. You're all set!
