Is it possible to check team member's availability when scheduling a meeting in MS Teams?
Resolution
The Scheduling Assistant in the Team Calendar can cross-check individual team member calendars with the date and time you wish to organize a meeting.
To do this:
Schedule a Meeting
- In Teams, click
.
You will see the Teams calendar.

- Click
.
You will see the Meeting Details box.
- Fill in the necessary details, including team member invitees, date, time, duration, location and subject of the meeting.

- When the form is complete, click on
.
The Scheduling Assistant will let you know if there are any conflicts with the invitees.

You will see each invitees availability as a shaded area on a grid. This information is taken from the invitees personal calendar.
- Based on this data you may be able to adjust the times to accommodate everyone.
