Teams: Taking quick notes during a Teams Meeting

Issue/Question

• Is there a way to take quick notes during a Teams Meeting?

Resolution

During a meeting, you can call up the notes panel and enter text to document the meeting activity.

To do this:

During a meeting,

• Select the [...] (More Options) button.
• Choose Show meeting notes. 
• Select Take notes (this is assuming only one person is taking notes).

You will see the Notes Panel

• Enter the text at any time as the meeting is conducted.

After the Meeting

• To view notes after the meeting, select Chat
• Find the meeting on your chat list, click the meeting entry.
• Click Go to Meeting Notes 
• Choose Show notes in fullscreen.

You will see the transcript of the meeting.
